Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
